Same-day dollars at the market
A stall can take a card tap and still have no money to restock ice. That is not a mystery of “crypto.” It is a gap between a beep and a pocket.
The product that matters here is cheap public-ledger dollar rails: a dollar that already exists in a bank, represented as a token on a public ledger, moved for a fraction of a cent, with a slower court behind the fast screen. The inventing job is a local use of that product — payout, send, share, or a tiny software payment — not a new coin and not a slogan.
This track is the textbook for the Future Forge module Same-day dollars at the market. The tutor should teach in chat first, then offer one of these pages. Naming a sponsor is not a solution.
| Page | Title | Concept (one line) | When the tutor opens it | Illustration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | A beep is not a pocket | Authorization is not spendable cash. | First beat, before rails or brands. | 01 |
| 02 | Dollar rails, not a casino | The product is cheap public-ledger dollars, not whole crypto. | After the beep/pocket gap. | 02 |
| 03 | Two clocks | A fast screen is not the later court. | When “instant” or “final” comes up. | 03 |
| 04 | Same-evening restock | A payout that can buy ice tonight. | Lesson 1 invent: stall payout. | 04 |
| 05 | Arrive and spend | A send that is spendable before Sunday market. | Lesson 2 invent: family corridor. | 05 |
| 06 | A slice you can freeze | A small share can be paused by the issuer. | Lesson 3 invent: stall share. | 06 |
| 07 | Software that can pay | A tiny capped fee per request, not a bank card. | Lesson 4 invent: night helper. | 07 |
| 08 | Pilot one stall | Honest limits; invent stays local. | Before celebrating a coast-wide rollout. | 08 |
