Same-evening restock
The unlocked use for a stall is not “payments.” It is a payout that can buy ice tonight.
Mira already took the sale. The reader already beeped. The wholesaler still wants something spendable before the truck leaves. A cheap public-ledger dollar can move for a fraction of a cent and show on a phone in a fraction of a second. That is what makes a same-evening restock inventable. It does not make it automatic.

A local application is a stall payout workflow: who gets paid, in what dollar, who confirms it, and what Mira does if the fast screen is wrong. It might be a clerk process, a shared till phone, a rule with the wholesaler, or a tiny float that refills when the ledger shows the sale. It is not a new bank for the whole quay.
Constraints that stay true at dusk:
- The fast screen can lie or later reverse. Invent a fallback the stall can say out loud.
- Someone still has to accept that dollar for ice. If the wholesaler only takes cash, you have not closed the pocket.
- A single operator still orders the fast clock. If that operator pauses, the new rail pauses.
Invent the payout. Do not invent a slogan. One stall that restocks tonight beats a coast that “goes cashless” on a poster.
