Why does it matter?
A bigger model, a faster sensor, a longer video lock — still abstract until it touches a problem they recognize.
Product unlock → design challenge → people invent
A Sponsored Quest turns a real product unlock into a design challenge inside Future Forge — inventing practice for exponential emerging tech. People don’t sit through another launch video. They try to solve a concrete problem with the kind of advance you just made possible — AI as co-inventor and optional tutor, them still leading the invent.
The gap
You ship a real advance. The feed fills with charts, demos, and parameter counts. That is news. It is not yet a reason someone in a classroom, lab, or first job changes what they build next.
A bigger model, a faster sensor, a longer video lock — still abstract until it touches a problem they recognize.
Without a place and a stake, your milestone stays in someone else’s industry feed.
The transfer that marketing decks rarely force: from launch claims to a first honest idea they could try where they live.
Sponsored Quests exist so people practice those answers — by inventing an application of what your unlock just made newly possible. Not by reading another FAQ.
The offer
A Sponsored Quest is a portable design challenge built around a threshold your product (or product category) just crossed — the kind of threshold that opens new kinds of applications, not only a nicer demo of the old ones.
We write the honest chain people need in order to invent: emerging tech → product category → what became possible → what that unlocks → applications they can try in a concrete place. Your product can show up as the instance that hit the threshold. Naming your brand is never the solution. Inventing a local application is.
Not a banner ad. A grounded spotlight on what this kind of product can do now — with limits kept honest.
A place under pressure — a sealed lab, a civic desk, a clinic at dusk — shaped so your advance is a strong, fair fit, not a forced pitch.
Future Forge practice: stack tech, write how it works, survive one hard question, field a first honest pilot idea. AI advises; they lead.
How it looks in the game
Same shape every time: a real unlock, a place under pressure, an open invent invitation. Screenshots use a fictive sample sponsor (MyCompany) — not a live partner deal.
When a real partner ships, credit stays light: Sponsored by {name} plus a short tagline. No scoring bonus. No forced product tray. No AI “sell mode.”
What you get
Your quest ships in the Sponsored catalog on warmersun.com. Self-host clients can download it as an official tile.
A research-backed source of truth for the AI: what changed, what that unlocks, and honest limits — so invent advice stays fair to your advance.
Multi-lesson tutor sequence with invent gates — useful for classrooms, enablement cohorts, and invent nights.
Players invent applications of the unlocked use-case class. That is the transfer: from your news cycle to their problem set.
Sponsored chip + short tagline. Your product may evidence the unlock; it is not prescribed as the one correct answer.
High-school seniors, undergrads, junior professionals — people building fluency with exponential tech, not buying another ad impression.
Sponsor money can cover the real run costs — hosting and AI inference — so more people can invent without a paywall at the door.
That spend goes toward bringing the missing subject — exponential emerging tech, practiced as inventing — to the public. Not toward buying fake engagement.
Clear on structure: Warmer Sun is a company, not a non-profit. Sponsored Quests are a commercial offer. The point of the money still stands — underwrite access and practice, not product theater.
Trust rules
Learners and educators only show up if practice stays honest. That honesty is the brand safety of Sponsored Quests — and your long-term upside.
The payoff: when someone invents a new application unlocked by your milestone, they have done the hardest marketing job themselves — they answered why it matters to me.
Is this for you?
Sponsored Quests are for capability moments — not generic awareness buys.
You crossed a real threshold: open weights, same-shift field reads, edge autonomy, cheaper rugged sensing, a new coding-agent horizon — and that threshold opens new application categories.
Developer relations, education, field enablement, and public-interest tech teams who want younger practitioners to invent with the advance — not only watch a keynote.
Pure brand placement with nothing inventable, or a brief that only works as a hard product pitch. We will say no rather than ship theater.
How we work
Pricing is custom — single spotlight quest, multi-lesson path, or series. No fake public rate card. Packages can include underwriting hosting and inference so public invent sessions stay open.
Warmer Sun is not a non-profit. This is a commercial partnership. Sponsor spend still goes toward craft, catalog placement, and the costs of bringing the missing subject to people who will invent with it — not toward a charity donation receipt.
Schools, universities, bootcamps, and training orgs need an Education license (Education is commercial use). Companies and paid deployments need a commercial license too — free CC use covers non-commercial self-host, host-present meetings, and free servers only. We can package quest authoring with licensing if useful.
The promise
Why does it matter? Why do I care? How does this apply to problems I need to solve? A Sponsored Quest is how people practice those answers — inventing applications of what your milestone just made real.
Next step
Share the milestone, the product category, and who you want inventing with it. We’ll reply with a straight fit call — and a light proposal if it is a fit.
Open a GitHub issue titled Sponsored Quest, or reach Warmer Sun on Discord / X. Include organization, what changed, approximate “as of” date, and whether you want a single quest or a learning path.
