1. Summary

warmersun.com is a static marketing and content site. You do not need an account to browse it. We do not run first-party advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site as currently published.

Future Forge is software you (or your school/org) host. Game progress is stored in your browser’s local storage on that device — not in a Warmer Sun cloud account.

2. This website (warmersun.com)

When you visit the site, the host that serves the pages (our static hosting provider) may process ordinary technical data such as IP address, user agent, and request path in server logs for security and operations. We do not use that to build marketing profiles of visitors.

Links to third parties (GitHub, Discord, X, fonts from Google Fonts, etc.) are governed by those services’ own policies. Opening those links leaves our site.

We do not require cookies for core browsing. If the browser stores a small preference for UI (if any), it is not used to track you across sites. We do not sell personal information.

3. Future Forge (self-hosted game)

When you run Future Forge (for example from GitHub), the app may store data locally in your browser, including:

Solved / completed quests (including learning-module progress for the on-screen segment bar)
Scenario cache and imported quest library items
UI preferences and similar client keys under the future-forge: prefix
Multiplayer room tokens in sessionStorage while a session is active

That data stays on the device and origin of the game instance you are using. It is not uploaded to warmersun.com for account sync.

Clearing progress: use your browser’s site data / local storage controls for the game’s origin, or clear site data for that host.

4. AI features in Future Forge

If the person running the server configures an AI API key, co-inventor and related features send prompts and context to that AI provider under their deployment and key. Warmer Sun is not the data controller or processor for arbitrary third-party self-hosts. Check the operator’s notices if someone else runs the server for you.

5. Official quest catalog downloads

The game may download public quest JSON from warmersun.com (or a CDN mirror of the same catalog). Those requests look like normal file downloads; they do not require login and do not send your local progress store to us.

6. Children

The site and game are intended for learners and educators. If you are a parent or school using Future Forge with minors, use appropriate device policies and do not collect unnecessary personal data in class setups.
