Trailers, tonnes, four legs

Malik’s trailer mouth is a specialist job. The machines that unload trailers are heavy rolling bases with a vacuum gripper or an arm that reaches into the box. Some of them weigh more than a tonne to lift a 23-kilogram case, because the job is stable unloading, not walking around the office.

Cages and pallets are mass on a mostly flat floor. That is a rolling base with a lift, not a pair of legs.

Four legs are for stairs, metal gratings, and dirty plants: a machine that carries eyes into bad terrain and very little else. Do not grow a human torso onto a dog by default.

Three stations, three bodies. The question for North Stack is not “which machine is most impressive.” It is “which station hurts, and which body was built for it.”

The tempting mistake is one walking default for all three. That is how the crate stays shut.
