Name the local flight

The ford is closed. The clinic is still open. Someone has to say what flies, what does not, and what happens when the wind comes up.

A local invent is not “use drones.” It is a pilot: one named place, one job, one product category. Write four lines before celebrating.

Who is served, and what everyday outcome do they get. Does the craft see or carry. What still binds — energy, radio, weather, noise, or the rule that a person must see the aircraft. What you will not invent: a driveway flying car, a city-wide grocery fleet, or a passenger network that still lacks a type certificate.

Keep the category small and uncrewed unless you are honestly in the air-taxi paperwork business. Keep the route sparse and time-critical if you carry. Keep a camera if a photo would do. Say the abort: where the machine lands if the link dies.

If you can write those four lines so a stranger could fly the job tomorrow, you have the idea this book was for.

The tempting mistake is to skip the card and design a sky full of flying cars. That is a poster, not a pilot.

That is the gate. Open it with a named flight, not with a slogan.
