Still plant gear, not a kitchen box

The coupling is real. The kitchen myth is not. 250 kW is plant equipment — not a home appliance.

  • Needs seawater access, power, brine/concentrate handling, and hydrogen safety and offtake.
  • Stability windows (about 100 days at 20 kW; about 40 days at 250 kW in the extra notes) are strong for pilots — not decades of fleet data.
  • This is electrolysis of distilled fresh water — salt management still matters upstream of the cell.
  • Surplus freshwater rates are real but modest next to city desal plants; the teachable win is coupling, not “one box waters a city.”
  • Naming a lab or brand is not the invention.
Industrial plant gear, not a home appliance yet
Still industrial gear — not a home box yet.

The tempting mistake is to hear “one machine” as a toaster that already waters a city. Keep the honesty. Keep the idea.

That is what lets you invent a coastal use without over-claiming.
